Set within a block of newly built apartments in central Singapore, the project’s layout has been entirely reimagined as a serene, fluid sanctuary for photographer Lavender Chang.
Chang required a home that could serve as both a private retreat and a professional canvas. To achieve this, the traditional floor plan was completely dismantled. Confining walls were shifted to form open portals, effortlessly unifying the living, dining, and workspaces into one continuous volume. Defined by a deliberately muted, understated palette, the interior relies on pale oak and delicate neutrals to create a calm, gallery-like backdrop that allows natural lightto dictate the rhythm of the day.
Transcending the role of a conventional living space, the seamless transitions provide a subtle focal point that fuses domestic warmth with creative utility.
Completed in 2026. Photography by Lavender Chang.
