Developed for the lobby within Finance House FH Cube head office in Abu Dhabi, the design is conceived as a welcoming threshold to the institution, bridging public access with a composed, inviting presence. The layout adopts a rational, rectilinear plan, with clear demarcations for enquiry, waiting, and private consultation zones.
Unified by a design language of harmonious hexagonal geometry, the space subtly expresses this motif through ceiling lighting and custom furnishings. A neutral material palette enhances spatial clarity and cohesion.
Anchoring the reception area is an organically contoured counter that extends across the front-of-house, while an oak-finished canopy above mirrors its curves, introducing a sense of visual balance and architectural shelter.
With daylight streaming through expansive, uninterrupted glazing, indoor landscaping becomes a central spatial device. Olive trees and integrated planters are thoughtfully positioned to animate the lobby, softening the formality of a conventional corporate setting.
