Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, this private office is designed for a select group of investors. The client requested a spatial articulation of trust and discretion, balanced with a soft, welcoming sensibility.
At the centre of the layout lies a rotunda-inspired gathering chamber, where a sculptural palm anchors the reception, evoking the quiet symbolism of the desert landscape. Soft light radiates from an artificial skylight above, casting a halo that defines the zone. Embraced by vertical oak fins, this central feature serves as both ceremonial lobby and reception for internal townhalls, gently guiding visitors inward.
Above the staff workstations, a seamless barrisol ceiling emits an ambient glow, mirroring daylight and enhancing spatial comfort. These zones feature custom partitions and planted troughs, forming private enclosures while maintaining an open visual rhythm.
The Studio reconfigured the office plate from its core, optimising access and circulation across the floor plan. Familiar materials—oak timber, micro-cemented walls, sand stone, and acoustic panelling lend the space a grounded elegance, referencing the arid calm of the region.
